Next, the old people seniors took a seat and enjoyed our skit.

It started off with a borrriiing CU meeting led by the new P&W team.

Haaariii innni, kuraaasaaa baaahaaagiiiaaa... *yawns*

Joyce (Yi Yan), the ex-president, advised the new president (Carissa).

Joe Siang (Justin), the vice president, asking why no one went for devotion. Bored-to-death members remained silent.

Cin Yi (Jie Xin), the secretary, walked in to collect the buku gerko. One bored-to-death member came to life and instantly fell in love with her...

Ahh...

My love... (HAHAHAHA.)

Lean Lik (Joel), the treasurer, teaching the new treasurer (Cheryl) how to collect offering. I wanna be a billionaire, so freaking baaad... x)

"No, no, no! CU isn't like that!" Joyce exclaimed. "CU is filled with drama..."

AHEM. *speechless*

Then, Joyce continued, "CU is filled with daaancing!"

All the single ladies, all the single ladies!

"CU is also filled with music!"

Matthias strumming his guitar.

"Last but not least, CU is filled with singing!" Joyce smiled as Kelly (Heng Wei), the P&W leader, walks in.

If I die young, bury me in satin...

"And we celebrate people's birthdays!"

Sue-Ann (Yin Whei), the career, sings the birthday song and throws birthday cards! 8D

After every CU meeting, the very responsible administrator, Gary (Daniel), will help arrange the chairs back!

If you guys didn't get the joke, lemme explain. Who watches SpongeBob SquarePants? "ME!" Okay. So, remember the cat snail who meows? Yep, he's called Gary. Get it? Gary Lee is Gary the Snail! x]

A few months later, with the seniors' help, CU had become a better place and recruited even more members! YAY!

...CU Outing 2010!

Of course, this picture was taken last year.

Aren't you all excited? Well, I am! This year we will be going to PCMC then straight to Botanic Park. People, if you're not going, you're definitely missing out A LOT 'cause we're going to have fun, fun, fun, and MORE FUN! 8D

Okay, those who're going, lookie here. I know the dress code is casual but just wear long pants like track bottoms or jeans. I think three-quarter pants should be fine, too. Just prevent wearing shorts 'cause after all, we're going to a church.

But bring a pair of shorts (but not too short) so that you can change when we go to the park. Let your legs "breathe"! =D And try to avoid wearing flip-flops lah 'cause we'll be doing some activities. Sport shoes or sneakers are perfect. ;)

You can bring along your camera (or DSLR for rich kids/pros xD) to snap pictures and uhh, if you want to, bring cash. Nothing to buy, though. Emergency money, maybe? Just don't forget to take good care of your stuff, alright? If anything gets lost, then... you know lah. *evil grins*

As I was saying, 流水不腐！our journey as Christians do not just stop when we said, 'YES!' to Jesus, in fact, when we accept God as our Lord and Saviour, we are just only getting geared up for a 'RACE' or rather the "RACE OF LIFE'.  (Prove: Hebrews 12:1)

A Race. Now that requires a lot of training doesn't it? Just ask any of your olahraga friends and you'll realize that, there's no such thing as being naturally PRO, it requires a lot of hard work and discipline. But fret not, we have a coach, who helps us in our weakness.So, let's see, where in the Manual Book does God speak of this preparation and training. Here are some Scriptures for you to study yourselves! (Better feed your spirits ar!)

2 Peter 1:3-4 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. [Note that those underlined are the answers =P]

Acts 1:8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

2 Timothy 1:7  For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.



Hebrews 12: 7-11 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children....but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

So these are just tips of the icebergs, sayangs! The more you dig deep into God's word, you'll learn that, 'hey! God is definitely way closer than You'd ever imagine!' He did not leave us here wandering aimlessly or clueless.  So whatcha waiting forrrrr, ON THE MARK, GET SETTTT, GOOOOOO!!!!
